A Note From Our Pastor: September 20, 2026

As this is our picnic weekend, I’m going to keep it short (and the people said, “Hooray!”). As you’ll undoubtedly hear me say at the picnic, a tremendous expression of gratitude is owed to the folks who did all the work of planning, preparing and executing this task. Wow!

The idea came to us, after having heard from some of our parishioners, wishing that there could be more parish community events. The picnic idea specifically began in discussion with Tita (our Pastoral Assistant for Administration) and Dr. Steve Morissette (our School Principal). They were very helpful.

Since then, it’s turned into a small army of volunteers, too many to name. To attempt to do so, I would undoubtedly forget to mention someone who deserves recognition. But the principal architects through this process have been Tita and parishioner Joan Glaman. I can’t thank them enough.

It’s been just over two years since Fr. Ben and I arrived here, and we began functioning together as parish family. I thank you for continuing to be open to adapting and rolling with changes and things being a little different than before.

As we continue to move through the steps that come with Partners in the Gospel, there will undoubtedly be more changes, but at this point, only God knows what they will prove to be. Let’s stay close to his Son, Jesus, to be our guide, our inspiration, and the one in whom we ultimately put all our trust.

Yours in Christ,

Father Todd O. Strange
