A Note From Our Pastor: March 1, 2026

I want to alert you that starting the week after Easter (April 6th) we will make an adjustment to our parish office hours, at both St. Thomas and St. Philomena.

Currently at St. Thomas, the hours are as follows:

• Monday thru Thursday 9:00am to 2:00pm

• Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm

Currently at St. Philomena, the hours are as follows:

• Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Starting after Easter, at both St. Thomas and St. Philomena, on Wednesdays our parish offices will open 1:00pm. The reason for this change is to give the staff the opportunity to gather, to pray a Holy Hour and to have lunch together. I believe that this use of time will strengthen us as a team and also keep us better rooted in our service to the parish. The more we pray together, it helps to ensure that we do not merely function as administrators of parish tasks, but more, that we are doing this work as it flows from our living faith.

The other change we will make to our office hours at St. Philomena is that we will close at 2:00pm on Fridays (rather than 4:00pm). This will allow us to use those last two hours to focus our work and ensure that things are ready for the weekend.

I acknowledge that we have a responsibility to the people of our parishes, and must do our best to have hours that are workable for them. Even with this change, I believe we still have a robust range of open hours.

The updated parish office hours (effective April 6th) will be as follows:

St. Thomas

• Monday 9:00am to 2:00pm

• Tuesday 9:00am to 2:00pm

• Wednesday 1:00 to 4:00pm

• Thursday 9:00am to 2:00pm

• Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm

St. Philomena:

• Monday 8:00am-4:00pm

• Tuesday 8:00am-4:00pm

• Wednesday 1:00-4:00pm

• Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm

• Friday 8:00am-2:00pm

We will ensure that this change is reflected in the various places where office hours are posted. Thank you for your understanding. Please let me know if you have any questions or would find it helpful to discuss.

Yours in Christ,

Father Todd O. Strange
